During my time at City Lifestyle, I had the opportunity to design layouts for several magazines, where I could create custom designs tailored to specific themes and audiences. A highlight of my tenure was being selected to collaborate with top senior designers on the '2026 Layout Recipe' project. This initiative aimed to establish innovative guidelines for magazine layouts, allowing us to experiment with typography, color schemes, and graphic elements. Working alongside such talented professionals was inspiring and reinforced my passion for design, emphasizing the importance of collaboration and industry trends.

4-page Gallery Inspired Layout
This layout was designed to showcase various images in different sizes and quantities, while adhering to the 4-page guideline. I aimed to create a balanced feel with an eclectic twist by incorporating rounded shapes for the images. This adds a playful element to the modern design, all while staying true to the City lifestyle brand style.
2026 Layout Recipe design 2:
6-page Full Text Inspired Layout
This layout was designed to effectively display a significant amount of text while also showcasing a substantial number of images. In creating this layout, I aimed to ensure that it could function well as a 2, 4, or 6-page design. Most publishers typically utilize only 2 to 4 pages of a 6-page layout for their articles. Therefore, I wanted this layout to emphasize the imagery that complements the story of the article while still providing enough text for context. I used thin angular lines to balance the delicate text, which I believe enhances the overall aesthetics of the layout.
