Lillian is particularly drawn to illustration and design, which she has been pursuing throughout her academic and professional career. She initially studied Studio Art and Graphic Design at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, where she honed her skills and developed her artistic voice. After completing her associate's degree, Lillian strongly desired to gain more hands-on experience in the industry, which led her to pursue a degree in Graphic Design at Metropolitan Community College-Penn Valley.

In the summer of 2023, Lillian brought her artistic mastery to the Northeast News team. As their Art Director and designer, she contributed to the rebranding and modernization of the Northeast News website.

In the fall of 2024, Lillian became a layout designer at City Lifestyle Magazine, where she designs numerous magazines each year and has even contributed designs to their 2026 recipe layouts.

Today, Lillian is still designing magazines at City Lifestyle Magazine. In her free time, she loves to cozy up with her cats at home and enjoys dabbling in other creative ventures, like her handcrafted jewelry & goods brand, The Garden Society Company.
